Wisconsin Phi Phi

The U.W.M. Phi Phi Chapter was formally installed April 23, 1989, by National Pi Tau Sigma President William B. Cottingham and Secretary-Treasurer Edwin I. Griggs. Under the leadership of faculty advisor Professor Robert Balmer, the chapter immediately elected outstanding mechanical engineering students into our honorary fraternity.

Although a fledgling chapter, Phi Phi prides itself in being considerably active. In order to increase youth awareness of the Mechanical Engineering profession, U.W.M. Pi Tau Sigma officers are creating a presentation which will be given to local high school students. In addition, Phi Phi has assisted the Mechanical Engineering Department in its annual open house. This activity will display some of the exciting new developments in the field to interested high school students.
