Lafayette Sigma Omega

The Sigma Omega Chapter of Pi Tau Sigma was installed on April 20, 1971 by National President Donald R. Haworth, assisted by Eastern Region Vice-President Suresh Chandra.

The members of Sigma Omega aid the Lafayette Mechanical Engineering Department by tutoring, assisting with sub-fresh and freshmen orientation programs, and presenting EIT review sessions. The members also help to run the college wide student government and Faculty and Course Evaluation Program. In addition, the chapter has occasionally prepared a detailed evaluation of the Mechanical Engineering Program at Lafayette.
